However, the business began many years before being able to make this shift. In 2004, Dave Lorentz and Charles Lynch formed a partnership to create a small business, Blue Ribbon Vending, that would grow rapidly in the Mid-Missouri area. That business would grow steadily over the next decade and would endure many changes within the merchandising trade. In 2016, Dave and Charles took their vision of a small business and would become one of 120 national Canteen franchises with the purchase of Jackson Brothers’ Northern territory which covers a large portion of Central Missouri.
