Information We Collect

When you use Septic & Well Pro, we may collect the following information:

• Contact information you voluntarily provide when submitting a quote request (name, email, phone number, ZIP code).
• Optional Google Analytics usage data, collected only after you choose to allow Google Analytics. This includes public page categories and limited quote progress and availability outcomes, together with browser and device information.
• Device information including browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Connect you with septic and well water service providers in your area.
• Improve our website and user experience.
• Send service-related communications when you request a quote.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your contact details with service providers only when you explicitly submit a quote request and provide consent via the TCPA checkbox. We may use Google Analytics to understand website use only with your separate analytics permission. Allowing analytics does not authorize sharing your quote with businesses, and submitting a quote does not enable analytics.

Cookies

Essential cookies and local storage support accounts, saved quote drafts and your preferences. Optional Google Analytics cookies are enabled only if you choose “Allow Google Analytics.” Choosing “Reject Google Analytics” prevents Google Analytics from loading or collecting events. You can reopen “Analytics preferences” on public pages to change or withdraw your choice. Rejecting analytics does not prevent searching or requesting a quote.

Google Analytics

With your permission, Google processes limited usage and device data to produce website reports. Our events use fixed public page categories, without URL queries, fragments or search text. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, job addresses, exact job ZIP codes, free-text answers, attachments, quote IDs or access tokens to Google Analytics. Account, admin, business management, claim, review-token and individual quote-result pages are excluded. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features or automatic form, search and outbound-link tracking.

Quote progress reports count limited actions and accepted request responses; they do not confirm delivery to businesses or a reply. See Google’s privacy policy for information about Google’s processing.

Other Third-Party Services

The website also uses Ahrefs site analytics, which is separate from the Google Analytics preference described above, and service providers needed to operate the website and handle requested communications. These services have their own privacy policies.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at our contact page. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
