The Pumping Service, LLC (formerly Benzie, Crystal & Interlochen Pumping Service Inc.) is a family-owned and operated company offering professional septic tank, holding tank and grease trap pumping services to Northern Michigan since 1975. We are dedicated to providing the best service to all of our customers within Manistee, Benzie, Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties, ensuring that each and every job is completed efficiently, safely and in a timely manner. Our operators are fully licensed and insured, and have the necessary experience, equipment and training to handle any septic situation. We understand that septic maintenance can be inconvenient at times, especially in emergency situations. Because of this, we work around our customers' schedules as often as possible and offer emergency services. If on the rare occasion we cannot assist you with your septic system or emergency, we will always refer you to someone who can help. At The Pumping Service, we provide more than just standard septic pump-out services: we also educate our customers on system function and proper maintenance. Elliott's Ken-Jac Pumping Septic and holding tank Service Family owned and operated since 1960 in Frankfort, MI. The original owners, Ken and Jackie, handed the business over to Ernest Elliott in 1996. From there, son, Tim Elliott took over the septic side in 2006 while Ernest and oldest son, John, handled the porta potty services. Sadly, John passed away in 2022.
